I am very excited to be a part of Freedom Financial as the Head of Insurance & Estate Planning. Even with over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, I am continually energized about guiding individuals and business owners through the complexities of estate planning and insurance. My philosophy is simple yet effective: align financial planning with personal values to create a customized legacy that truly reflects each client’s life and aspirations.

Planning is not a cookie cutter process at any level. Throughout my extensive career, I have found that while most clients have a notion of their goals, they often lack clarity. My experience of helping others equips me to view their situation, reflect on what others in their situation have done, and offer them options they can consider that may not have occurred to them. Listening to our clients is key, asking questions that help them explore alternatives and crystallize their objectives, and then helping them build their plan.

I have discovered that all clients find true peace of mind and are more inclined to take action when they fully comprehend the purpose and benefits of their insurance and estate planning. I take pride in demystifying the intricacies of insurance and estate planning, ensuring that every client feels informed and secure about their financial future.

Business owners have unique concerns in their estate and business planning. Unlike owning other assets, most business owners are active in their business and are trying to build and grow an asset that can be their primary source of income, provide for their retirement, and have value for their heirs. The asset value is influenced by their direct involvement, by key employees, and is generally illiquid so special care and preparation must go into selling or “exiting”. I have enjoyed working with owners to develop key employee retention plans, business continuation or succession plans, or using the business to help pay for personal benefits.

I have also used my teaching and communication skills to speak to audiences around the country on financial strategies and key planning issues that can impact their lives. I enjoy the interaction and the feeling of satisfaction I get when I am able to help others gain insight into how they can navigate their financial challenges.

At Freedom Financial, I invite you to embark on a journey with me—a journey towards a future where your financial plan is a true reflection of your personal values and goals. Together, we will explore the full potential of your legacy.
